Nekropolis: A Musical Legacy from the Roots of Necro
This weekend, Necropsycho, together with the Pachamama Crew, will host a memorable event, celebrating in grand style its roots and career with a special 12-hour live set. It will be a significant moment for fans and family to come together and see him play for the last time in his own backyard. For many, this will be an unmissable opportunity to experience the musical journey that began right there, in that very backyard.
The House of Darkpsy
For 19 years, Nekropolis has been the home of live performances by a variety of national and international psytrance artists, not only from the underground scene. Each party not only celebrates the artist's talent but also highlights the strong connection between the underground community and the music. It's important to note that this is not just another party venue—around 2005, it ceased to be just a backyard and became an integral part of Necropsycho's journey.
The Untold Story
In addition to being the "House of Darkpsy," it was also the place where "Nuccho" Carmine Eugenio Tarsitano, aka Necropsycho, was born and raised. That humble backyard, with avocado trees, jackfruit, jabuticaba, banana plants, and many other varieties of plants, also marked the beginning of his childhood and many stories of love, family, and resilience. It was there that Michelina and her husband, Carmine, lived out their own histories.
Many years ago, Nekropolis had no walls, and the backyard was just wilderness, allowing local wildlife to roam freely. "Back then, before the 'Dutra' highway was built, many animals would come, like frogs, monkeys, cows, armadillos, and birds of all kinds. I even remember Nuccho raising chickens and a rooster there when he was little," recalls Michelina.
Carmine, Nuccho’s father, had a great passion for cars, especially Italian ones like the "Alpha Romeo," and he had several car carcasses dismantled in the backyard. In the early days of the parties, due to this love, Nekropolis was nicknamed "Ferro Velho" (Junkyard), a name that stuck for many years. When Nuccho solidified his identity as Necropsycho in the underground scene, it transformed into the beloved corner we know today: Nekropolis, the House of Darkpsy.

Neste fim de semana, Necropsycho em conjunto com a Pachamama Crew realizará um evento memorável, celebrando em grande estilo suas raízes e sua carreira, apresentando um live set especial de 12 horas. Será muito importante reunir fãs e familiares para ver a última vez ele tocando em seu quintal. Para muitos, esta será uma oportunidade imperdível para vivenciar a jornada musical que começou ali mesmo, naquele mesmo quintal.
A Casa do Darkpsy
Durante 19 anos, a Nekropolis foi casa de performances ao vivo apresentadas por uma variedade de artistas nacionais e internacionais do psytrance, não somente da cena underground. Cada festa não só celebra o talento do artista, mas também destaca a forte conexão da comunidade underground com a música. Vale destacar que não é somente mais um local onde acontece festas, em meados de 2005, ali deixou de ser somente um quintal e começou a ser parte da jornada do Necropsycho.
A história pouco contada
Além de "Casa do Darkpsy", ali também foi a casa onde "Nuccho" Carmine Eugenio Tarsitano aka Necropsycho nasceu e cresceu. Aquele singelo quintal com pés de abacate, jaca, jabuticaba, bananeiras e muitas outras plantas, também foi o início de sua infância e muitas histórias envolvendo amor, família e resiliência. Foi ali que Michelina e seu marido, Carmine, viveram suas histórias.
Há muitos anos atrás, a Nekropolis não possuía muros e no quintal "era tudo mato", possibilitando que a fauna local adentrasse. "Antigamente, antes da 'Dutra' ser construída, vinham muitos animais como sapos, macaquinhos, vacas, tatus, pássaros de todos os jeitos, inclusive quando pequeno o Nuccho já criou galo e galinha no quintal" relembra Michelina.
Carmine, pai de Nuccho, era apaixonado por carros, em específico os italianos "Alpha Romeo" e possuía várias carcaças desmanchadas em seu quintal. Logo no começo das festas, por conta desse amor, a Nekropolis foi apelidada de "Ferro Velho" que se estendera por muitos anos. Quando Nuccho se consolidou como Necropsycho na cena underground, se transformou no cantinho que amamos e conhecemos: Nekropolis, a Casa do Darkpsy.
